I have no success with this stuff. I applied it according to the directions, but I didn't notice that it numbed anything. I gave a friend the product, and they discovered that it was effective for their needs.

This item was suggested to me by my tattoo artist. I'm glad I got it before getting a tattoo on my wrist. I had previously had work done on my wrist, but this took much longer—about 2.5 hours—and included line work and full color bleeds. This was utilized an hour prior to the session and was covered in plastic. I didn't experience much pain throughout the tattoo process; the fourth color layer didn't start hurting my wrist until about two hours in. I will absolutely use this and tell my friends about it!

I require this item each night. It's out of stock far too frequently and unavailable for lengthy periods of time. The product "sticks" better than other substitutes and is thicker than comparable creams.

Hey, this is the only medicine I've found that contains a sufficient amount of lidocaine to relieve hemorrhoids' burning, itching, and agony. I don't tattoo with it. Apply liberally after thoroughly cleaning the region with mouthwash.

Worked beautifully when I had my chest tattooed! Although the pain is still somewhat excruciating, this helps to alleviate it overall.

Although this is a top-notch product, the PSA seized a complete, unopened tube of it at the airport. They told me I could only bring 100 grams, yet it weighs 110 grams. I believe they mistook grams for milliliters. Milliliters are a measure of volume, while grams constitute weight. I think I can bring 110 grams, but LAX still took my brand-new, $20 tube away.

This is fantastic stuff! I primarily use it for waxing, but I've also applied it to my back to help with pain relief. It has a lotion-like consistency, absorbs rapidly, begins to act swiftly, and doesn't leave a nasty film on the skin. When I run out, I'll return for more without a doubt! Quite impressed!

I've used this for three of the five sessions I've had on my back tattoo. It lasts for almost three hours, and it works. It has no offensive smell. This one is unquestionably recommended because it just costs $30 for a substantial amount of stuff.

I suffer from a variety of skin diseases, including eczema, atopic dermatitis, and cutaneous lupus. For pain, itching, and inflammation, I have a LOT of prescription topicals. I had had a prescription for 5% Lidocaine ointment. I needed to fill it again before I ran out of it, so when I saw this product's 5% Lidocaine CREAM being touted, I decided it was worthwhile to give it a shot. Does it operate? Yes. Is the lidocaine 5%? No. My itch is reduced by 5% Lidocaine RX ointment from a 10 (very itchy/painful) to roughly a 2.0–3.0. On the other hand, this OTC lotion reduces the itching and agony to between 4.5 and 5.0. Although it's a lot better than nothing, I'm very sure it's not 5% lidocaine as said. Additionally, I believed OTC brands could only contain up to 4% Lidocaine; I believed an RX was required for doses higher than that.

This helps to lessen the pain from the neddle insertions and I use it to numb my arm before my dialysis sessions.

Even the Voltaren that I use performs better than aspercreme. Ignore the box labeling that indicates for external rectal use.? So, if that's your thing, go ahead.

It has a strong organism smell and, to be honest, doesn't stay very long, so I don't think this is really 5%. Although I previously enjoyed this particular product, if I had the choice, I would choose a different one the next time.

I bought this earlier this month in an effort to make my laser sessions less painful. I had my appointment this morning, and I must admit that I am impressed. The biggest selling factor for me was that it's lot simpler for applications than the little jar one I previously used. I liberally applied this to every area of my body that would be laser-treated one hour before my appointment. I took my customary 4 Advils on the way to the appointment to help with pain management. Some portions of my workout today left me feeling nothing! The pain was noticeably less intense in other places. With this product, I'm delighted or satisfied.

I was worried because several reviews claimed that it didn't work, yet it does. I applied the cream around 45 minutes before getting a tattoo, and I could feel the needle touch but felt no discomfort ( if that makes sense).

The most potent pain relief available over the counter. It is the least irritating cream we've discovered, the most effective, and the cheapest! All in all, it is a success.

I was taking powerful medications for the pain in my back. The medications were ineffective. In my desperation, I gave it a shot. I was surprised to find that it temporarily relieves the pain for around 6 hours (just with icey hot, Ben Gay, etc.). By the time it wears off, I can bear not feeling frozen. It's a win-win for me.

It works wonderfully, and I like using 5%. It helps with my pain. As a former occupational therapist, I am aware that it frequently works better at pain management than pharmaceutical painkillers.

Used it for a tattoo and felt nothing at all. However, the smell made me queasy, so avoid wearing it in confined areas like a car or such.

Although it performs as predicted, it performs much better. It will go to sleep pain-free no matter where you put it.

It has a slight aroma, which I dislike, but it will numb for dermaneedling. I do have to use more than I did with the previous brand, but overall it works well and is a fantastic price.

I have been having laser hair removal for a long time, and after trying EVERY NUMBING CREAM ON THE MARKET, nothing managed to remove the hair from my skin, but THIS PRODUCT DID THE TRICK. I USED VERY LITTLE ON THE AREAS GETTING TREATED, THE TUBE IS 4 OUNCES, I BARELY FELT THE LASER, THE TECHNICIAN SAID THE LASER SETTING WAS AT A HIGHER LEVEL THAN USUAL.

About an hour before getting my tattoo, I applied this on my arm. Before it started to wear off, I sat there for four hours. When it started to wear off, she was almost done. She was putting in more color, but it's effective. I regret not using this for some of my other tattoos.

I fell and hurt my back and both of my knees. My back was given a lidocaine patch at the hospital, which worked well but didn't stay in place. I could only get 4% lidocaine patches over-the-counter. The discovery of this 5% lidocaine lotion has changed my life. My knee and back discomfort are nearly immediately relieved, and I can move around pain-free. I heartily endorse this item.

On my most recent tattoo, I used this stuff, and it worked beautifully. About an hour before I arrived at the tattoo studio, I applied it. There was minimal to no pain due to this and the tattooing of the area. I would advise applying heavily and, if at all feasible, wrapping the product in plastic before entering the store. Additionally, let the tattoo artist know that you have something similar so that they can use a different substance to clean the region and extend the effectiveness of these treatments. This did a fantastic job of numbing my face for epilation. I applied one layer, followed by a second 30 minutes later, and then I epilated 15 minutes later. Although not quite as much, it still stung. For exactly the 20 minutes I needed to do the most of my face, I was able to epilate. I was happy with the numbing power, even though my top lip was still really painful.

Using a Saran Wrap, I applied this for the first three hours around every hour. Over the course of my somewhat longer than two-hour tattoo, I felt relatively numb most of the time. I had the option to reapply, but time was running out.

The back of my ear, which didn't have as much fat padding and was one of the more painful spots to get a tattoo, was where I bought this. I placed it on an hour before my appointment, and when I arrived, I had to wait a couple more hours because of the high volume of customers. I use it to get rid of tattoos and Botox. It greatly aids, albeit it does not completely numb the area.

Regarding this product .. certainly, but not for as long as I had anticipated. The region I used it on remained numb for between 30 and 60 minutes. If it's a tiny tattoo, I would recommend trying this, but nothing large because you need something stronger than this. I wasn't finished, so I applied more cream (on the first try it numb my skin in less than 5mins).

As with any other topical cream, I put a little coating of lotion to the painful places on my feet where I had peripheral neuropathy. It was beneficial. I felt relief for a few hours because the feedback loop was broken. Obviously, it wasn't as effective or lasted as long as lidocaine patches, but it worked nicely for mild nerve discomfort. Value it.

At a tattoo in a delicate location, this worked beautifully! I applied it, layered it in again after 30 minutes, then removed it right before getting my tattoo! I don't think I could have completed this six-hour tattoo without the usage of this cream, which lasted approximately an hour with minimal pain. It helps numb my hand joints, knee joints and lower back. Allows me to be able to get jobs done the next day. Putting it on at night allows me to sleep without that additional pain.

This is something my wife uses before to waxing, and it works. Just keep in mind to apply it early enough, 45 to 60 minutes before waxing, so that it can begin to numb and your skin may dry out and be prepared. You might need to clean away any oily leftovers using a towel. However, it does make a difference in the tender, sensitive areas. It doesn't completely numb.
